This project is a new 2000 sq m facility for the University which
includes specialist Cat 3 laboratories, write up spaces and offices.
The building is to link directly to the adjacent Purdie building which
has specialist active research operations. This requiresd the design team to
carefully consider interfaces. The services contain a Combined Heat and
Power (CHP) Plant. A tri-generation system was also considered.
RSP has completed projects at the Irvine Building (New Photonics Laborartory) and the School of Physics building.  |
