RSP has completed many prestigious projects for Standard Life over the last 20 years, in the UK and overseas. The practice has a formal partnering agreement with Standard Life which allows any commission to be commenced with the minimum of briefing and notice. The commissions have ranged from small refurbishments to large Head Offices. These projects include: The upgrade of 13,500 sq.m. of 'Grade A' building for Standard Life Investments, using the largest chilled ceiling and beam installation in Scotland. The inaugural head office of the Standard Life Bank which included 3000 sq.m. of call centre utilising positive displacement ventilation systems. The complete refurbishment of the Baileyfield campus which included a new IT continuation centre for Standard Life Assurance Company and upgrades and refurbishments of this UK branch network. The practice has recently completed a £6m new data hall at Glenogle Road in Edinburgh. This partnership has resulted in commissions which would combined give a build value in excess of £150m.
