RSP are pleased to announce the expansion of their Energy Assessor team with 3 new accredited individuals.  Gary Crosbie, Brian Rodger and Ian Rogers are the latest additions to the team.  RSP now have a total of 7 accredited Energy Assessors to produce EPC's (Energy Performance Certificates) for existing buildings in Scotland.  We hope to expand this soon with Energy Assessors for EPC's in England and Wales.

An EPC provides information on a buildings as designed energy use.  It provides a rating for each building from A, very energy efficient to G, very energy inefficient.  Since the 4th January 2009 EPC's have been required on the construction, sale or rental of any building in Scotland.  Large public buildings also require an EPC which must be displayed to the public.  There is similar legislation in place in England and Wales.
