RSP have succeeded in reducing the number of toner cartridges used by 27% in two years.

Usage fell by 15% from 2008 to 2009 and by a further 14% from 2009 to 2010. The total reduction over the two years represents a decrease of 18 cartridges per annum.

Over the same period RSP reduced their paper consumption by 31%.

Usage decreased by 18% from 2008 to 2009 and by a further 16% from 2009 to 2010. The total reduction represents a saving in paper usage of 105,000 sheets per annum.

RSP have achieved the above savings by increasing staff awareness of unnecessary printing and by changing default settings on PC’s to reduce colour printing.
