RSP continue to add BREEAM Assessment services to their already comprehensive skills. Carol Thain will shortly commence the process to become a BREEAM Healthcare Assessor. BREEAM Healthcare has been intorduced by BRE in response to the NHS requirement to meet industry standards for environmental performance. The NEAT system, developed by BRE in 2002, has been discontinued and will be replaced by the BREEAM Healthcare scheme from 1st August 2008. In addition the Department of Health will require all new buildings to achieve an excellent rating and all refurbishments to achieve a very good rating under the BREEAM Healthcare scheme. It is anticipated that RSP will be able to offer BREEAM Healthcare Assessments by the start of 2009. For more information on BREEAM Assessments please click here. |
