Planning Advice for Lothian Park
RSP have actively participated in the planning process for the outline planning consent for Lothian Park on behalf of Rutherford Ltd.

The new Scottish Planning Policy (SPP) 6: Renewable Energy was published in March 2007 and has been introduced into many local authority planning policies  since.  It requires a feasability study of renewable technologies to be undertaken at the outline planning stage in order to demonstrate to planners that the commitment can be met.

RSP carried out an analysis of the various renewable technologies available and provided specialist support to the planning process.  RSP consider this type of advice unique at this early stage in the planning process.

The submission was well received by East Lothian Council.
