Name of project: Refurbishment of the University of Edinburgh Central Library.
Project Description: This project is a 5 year programme of upgrades to the library carried out on a floor by floor basis. The project includes the full modern library accommodation such as archive areas, break out spaces, resource learning areas, etc. The refurbishment includes a new cooling system via chilled beams and full power and data installation. The project is connected to the Universities centralised district heating and cooling network. RSP are also the BREEAM assessors for the project. Value: £30m    |
