This project is a £30m, five year
programme of upgrades to the University of Edinburgh Central Library at George Square,
carried out on a floor by floor basis.
The project includes the full modern library accommodation such as archive areas, break out spaces, resource and learning areas. The refurbishment includes a new cooling system via chilled beams and full power and data installation. The project is connected to the University's centralised district heating and cooling network. RSP are also the BREEAM Assessors on the project. The project is on target for a BREEAM Very Good rating.    |
