Project Description:
This project is a new 2000 sq m facility for the University which includes specialist Cat 3 laboratories, write up spaces and offices. The building is to link directly to the adjacent Purdie building which has specialist active research operations. This required the design team to carefully consider interfaces. The services contain a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Plant. A tri-generation system was also considered. Value: £13.5m
