The practice was commissioned to provide
building services advice for the reconfiguration of the Ashworth buildings
complex at the Kings Buildings campus for the University of Edinburgh.
This involved a new 2,000 sq m extension containing laboratories, write-up spaces and insectaries all for the Institute of Animal and Population Biology. This project is known as Ash 3 and was the first phase of the proposed redevelopment of the existing buildings (Ash 1 and Ash 2). RSP also provided advice to the University on a potential rationalisation of its current infrastructure.   |
