University of Edinburgh Salisbury Green
This grade A listed hotel for the University of Edinburgh was previously used as student accommodation until the £2.4 million refurbishment in 2006. It has now been converted to a prestigious all year round hotel which provides 42 en-suite bedrooms for visiting post grad academics to the University.

The hotel also has conference facilities and a training centre. Outwith the academic year the hotel is used by the wider public.

As a listed building many original features were retained, including a number of ornate ceilings and fireplaces.

In terms of sustainability, the project not only benefited from the revised use of an existing building but the connection to an existing District Heating System.
