This grade A listed hotel was previously used as student accommodation until the £2.4 million refurbishment in 2006. It has now been converted to a prestigious all year round hotel which provides 36 en-suite bedrooms for visiting academics to the University.
The hotel also has conference facilities and a training centre. Outwith the academic year the hotel is used by the wider public. As a listed building many original features were retained, this included a number of ornate ceilings and fireplaces.
