RSP has maintained a continuous working relationship with Hewlett Packard for over 20 years. The practice has been involved with all major projects within the South Queensferry plant over this period. RSP have also been involved refurbishing a number of the buildings at South Queensferry and at their Ipswich plant. Agilent required additional production space within their existing 10,000 sq m clean room facility in Ipswich, which necessitated the relocation of Accounts and R&D to a purpose built factory within the grounds. A new catering facility was also provided. The rationalisation of the South Queensferry plant has involved the practice in producing designs for the closure of buildings 1-3. This resulted in the provision of a new energy centre to supply the remaining buildings together with a refurbishment of those buildings to current day standards.
