RSP were commissioned to design the building services for the Edinburgh Dental Institute when The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Estates Department relocated it to their Lauriston Building.

The Dental Institute occupied three floors of the building.  The existing building services were removed to the central risers and new installations were provided. These included: Piped medical gases, heating via radiant ceiling panels, video broadcasting between surgeries and lecture theatres.
 
RSP are currently designing a new 6000 sq. m Primary Care Centre at Musselburgh.  The centre will have GP practices, physiotherapy, dental, portable X-ray and many other departments.
