RSP have been appointed from the existing framework agreement with the trust to provide the M+E design for the new state of the art Theatre Sterile Supply Unit.
The building with serve Ayrshire and Arran NHS Trust, taking all the theatre equipment cleaning, sterilizing and packing in sterile wraps and returning to use. The building will house steam generating plant currently from a combination of gas and woodchip feeding steam to clean steam generators which in turn supply the sterilizers themselves. Steam will also be used in the Clean room area of the building to provide full air conditioning and humidity control.
