RSP were appointed by Apollo Medical to provide the design and
specification for the proposed new medical facility for the Old Kilpatrick
Medical Practice.
The building was constructed behind the existing Practice to ensure the existing facility could continue to be fully operational. The new building offers views across the Forth and Clyde canal which runs behind it and over the river Clyde estuary to the front, not far from the Erskine Bridge The services included lighting, power, patient call systems, CCTV, Security, heating via low NOX high efficiency boilers to low surface temperature radiators, a full thermal analysis to ensure control of temperatures by natural ventilation in summer, lighting control, motor room less lift, ventilation heat recovery and energy saving low flush water appliances.
