RSP Consulting Engineers were appointed by Apollo Medical to provide the design and specification for the proposed new medical facility for the Old Kilpatrick Medical Practice. This project involved the same sucessful team as the Fort William Medical Centre and continues our long standing relationship with the Client. The building was constructed behind the existing practice to ensure the existing facility could continue to be fully operational. The new building lies right on the Forth and Clyde canal and offers fantastic views.
The site was compact and included cleaning up old oil lines that used to run through the site on route to Glasgow. Once the building was complete the existing building was removed to create additional parking and landscaped gardens. Apollo Medical have been congratulated on the building by the user's who have commented that the high standard of service provided has delighted the staff and the community. Old door bells and windows from the old practice house have even been incorporated into the art throughout the building linking the old with the new.
