RSP
were appointed by Apollo Medical to
provide the design and specification for the proposed new medical facility for
the Rutland Medical Practice in Govan near the new BBC HQ in Glasgow.
The building is located directly on the Govan road approximately 50 yards from the old building. The building services included lighting, power, nurse and patient call systems, heating via low NOX high efficiency boilers and mini CHP Units providing both electricity and heat, low surface temperature radiators in patient areas, a full thermal analysis to ensure control of temperatures by natural ventilation in summer, lighting control, motor room less lift, ventilation heat recovery, energy saving low flush water appliances, security and CCTV. RSP are carrying out the BREEAM assessment. The building is on target to achieve a BREEAM Excellent. |
