This is a refurbishment of the 4 star 150 bed George Hotel located on George Street, Edinburgh.
The building which is 'A' listed had been long overdue an overhaul with the new owners commencing the refurbishment early in 2006. The refurbishment involved upgrading the hotels very old infrastructure. This included new boiler plant and electrical distribution. The 1960's east extension shall be provided with comfort cooling. A complete overhaul of the public areas on the ground floor and remodelling of conferencing facilities shall provide accomodation suitable for the 21st Century.
