| RSP's new Energy Assessors |

RSP are pleased to announce that we now have 3 approved and registered Energy Assessors who can produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's) for existing buildings in Scotland. Additionally Associate Alan Affleck recently passed his Low Carbon Consultants exam and will become our first Energy Assessor to produce EPC's for England and Wales From the 4th of January 2009 EPC's will be required in Scotland on sale or rental of any building over 50 m² and for display in all public buildings over 1000 m². They will also be required on construction, sale or rental of all homes from winter 2008. Similar regulations are currently being introduced in England and Wales. RSP now have 3 fully approved and registered Energy Assessors and are in the process of increasing this number to include energy assessors for new and existing buildings in the rest of the UK and for air conditioning assessments.
