The practice was commissioned by Scottish Capital Properties to provide a high quality
lettable office space in an ‘A' listed building within the centre of Edinburgh.
The brief was to provide services suitable for a serviced ‘touch down' office space. The upper floors were more traditionally lettable office space. As the building was Grade A Listed with many of the original features being retained, careful selection of new lighting was required. The electrical services comprise of individual metering to each lettable floor. Lighting varies between decorative type luminaires in circulation and meeting areas to low glare fluorescent luminaires. Power and data distribution is provided through floor trunking with floor boxes strategically located within to provide flexibility for incoming tenants. |
