| The Auction House, 63-65 George Street, Edinburgh |
|
This project involved the
refurbishment and rationalisation of all parts of two adjacent B listed mixed
use buildings on George Street, Edinburgh.
The two buildings were connected at ground floor but independent at upper floors. 63 George Street was occupied at ground and basement by a shop with three dilapidated unoccupied floors of cellular office space above. 65 George Street was occupied by Bonhams the auctioneers. The brief was to maximise retail at ground and basement levels and create high quality grade B subdivisible office space to all levels from first to fifth floors. A full replacement of M&E services including lighting, heating and small power was provided to each individually heated floor. |
