St Pauls and St Georges Church
St Pauls and St Georges church is a Scottish Episcopal (Anglican) church with a congregation of around 700.

This £4 million project is the realisation of a strategy to provide the community with facilities that meet the needs of the 21st Century.

The project involved the complete refurbishment of this impressive Gothic revival building on York Place in Edinburgh.  The increase in capacity from 400 to 700 required the construction of 3 new balconies which included the upgrade of lighting and heating within the space.

The replacement of an existing single storey hall at the north of the church with a new 3 storey flexible space provided the church with a much needed meeting and amenity space.  The extension also includes a kitchen and dining space.

The 3rd element of the project was to provide a glass bridge entrance pavilion in front of the west gable to provide a focal point for visitors.

The images demonstrate the sensitive refurbishment of the church.
