| Wallace Monument Visitor Centre, Stirling |
|
The new Wallace Monument visitor centre for the Stirling Tourist Board was
delivered on time and under budget to a demanding brief.
The project comprised of a new extension incorporating entrance lobby, catering kitchen, office, toilets and dining area. The dining area features extensive full height glazing providing dramatic views of the monument. This required detailed co-ordination between RSP and the project architect Lee Boyd for the services strategy to minimize the visual impact on the architecture, with the exception of integrated external and internal lighting. RSP provided M&E Design Services and IES thermal modeling to maximise the environmental performance of the building. |
