Kingsgate Shopping Centre Extension in Dunfermline is a development by Mivan Ltd.
The extension involved the creation of 11 small and 2 large retail units adding to the former 40 units. The bus station was reorganised to provide a more efficient public transport terminal. A new Mall containing food court and mobility shop unit provides a central focus to the centre. The building services include mall smoke vent, sprinklers and lighting to the mall area. The existing safety systems including fire alarms and Public Announcement shall be extended to the new mall and shop units. Separate utility supplies for water, gas and electricity to each shop unit were provided.
