RSP offers an approved certifier of design service to clients applying for building warrants. Approved certifiers can ensure a design complies with section 6 of the Scottish building regulations and this enables the warrant to be fast tracked through building control. The warrant fee is also reduced. Approved certifiers of design must be trained in the use of SBEM, members of a professional body and then undertake further training and an exam in order to become accredited.
