In RSP it is our priority to ensure every project design is as energy efficient as possible and we have a team of engineers qualified as Low Carbon Consultants to help achieve this. Our Low Carbon Consultants are accredited by CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers) and they are qualified in the following:
• Certifying that a completed building meets the carbon emissions requirement of Part L building regulations in England and Wales and Section 6 in Scotland.
• Advising on energy efficiency and conservation
• Advising on and designing low carbon and renewable technologies
• Using passive design technologies (making the best use of shade and natural ventilation)
• Delivering the information needed to manage the building and ensure it continues to perform to its design intent after handover.
