RSP currently employs individuals trained in iSBEM calculations who can ensure accurate and complete carbon emission calculations for compliance with Criteria 1 of Part L in England and Wales and Section 6.1 of the Section 6 building regulations in Scotland.
This provides the calculations necessary for developing an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). Updates to both Part L and Section 6 will come into force on 1st October 2010 requiring a 25% and 30% reduction in CO2 emissions respectively. RSP will be well placed to both carry out the calculations required under the new regulations and offer advice and recommendations on achieving compliance.
